COVID-19 | SOWO PROTOCOL
Preventive measures of our coworking space in Barcelona due to the COVID-19
So that we can all return to our workspace safely and without fear, we have implemented preventive measures.
Our top priority is the safety and health of our coworkers. These measures will be adapted from week to week or even day to day, whenever necessary. We are in a time of uncertainty and we will be adapting to the regulations and the evolution of the situation.
The most important thing for us is that Sowo is a safe workplace for everyone. We have thought a lot about the best measures to achieve this, but as always, we are open to all the proposals you have to achieve it.
We leave you detailed all the measures:
ACCESS TO SOWO
Access to the space shall be with an access card. As you join Sowo, you’ll have to stop by reception to get your card. You can still use fingerprint access, but we don’t recommend it.
At the entrance, we will have hydroalcoholic gel to disinfect your hands. It is mandatory to disinfect or wash your hands when you reach space.
We recommend the use of a mask in common areas, if you don’t have one, ask at reception.
The minimum safe distance between people throughout the space must be maintained.
Flex memberships should use a single table to work throughout the day.
We apply a new policy for FIX membership. Leave the table with the minimum of objects on top, if possible, just the screen. This facilitates the correct cleaning and disinfection of the work table.
In private offices, the implementation of minimum distance measures will be evaluated individually, looking for the best way to maintain the minimum safety distance between the members of the same team..
CLEANING AND VENTILATION
The cleaning is increased daily. Every day, the knobs, switches…will be disinfected. Likewise, we will disinfect throughout the day those elements that touch the most.
All cloth towels have been removed from the space and replaced with paper towels. Let us all try to make responsible and sustainable use of paper.
We increase air renewal and ventilation throughout the space.
The seating capacity of common areas is reduced to ensure safe distance, and furniture has been redistributed for this purpose. We ask not to move the chairs from one side to the other, they are strategically placed to maintain the recommended safety distance.
We ask that all sowers bring their own kitchen utensils. There will still be crockery at your disposal but we do not recommend its use. Likewise, all Sowo dishes will be washed in the dishwasher at a minimum temperature of 60 degrees.
We remove, until further notice, the scourer and the cloth. We recommend eating from the tupper itself, with personal forks and washing them at home.
The tuppers can not be put in the dishwasher, everyone should wash it at home.
It is mandatory to wash or disinfect your hands before and after serving us coffee or using other common items.
No food can be left in the kitchen cupboards. We know that many of you have food in the cupboards and will continue to work at home for a while. Do not worry, for the moment we will not throw anything away (unless we see that it is spoiling). Let us know if you remember anything you have in storage and know we can throw away.
If food is left in the fridge, it will have to be well stored and inside a tupper. It can only be overnight. On Fridays, the fridge has to be empty in order to be cleaned properly.
We reduced the capacity of the meeting rooms to 50%.
Meeting rooms will be cleaned every time someone uses them. We recommend avoiding face-to-face meetings as much as possible.
We ask to minimize visits only for what is essential.
Upon arrival, we will accompany you directly to the previously reserved meeting room.
Meetings may not be held in common areas.
RECEPTION OF PARCELS SERVICE
We ask the sowers to only send the absolutely necessary packages to Sowo. Those parcels that arrive will be disinfected and then delivered.
EVENTS AND ACTIVITIES
We will not hold any event or breakfast in Sowo until further notice. We are very sorry for the latter, because Wednesdays without breakfast are not going to be the same, but the first thing is health and now it is time to reduce the risk and avoid any contagion.
We thank you in advance for your cooperation and hope that we will soon be able to return to normal as far as possible.
